486th Bomb Group Association Collection
The 486th Bombardment Group operated during World War II as an Eighth Air Force heavy bombardment unit. It was stationed in Sudbury, Sudfolk, England. They operated against strategic objectives in Germany until May 1945, having flown a total of 188 missions and losing 33 aircrafts.

Alma E. Anders Collection
The collection is comprised of two paper diplomas and two original hard fabric covers for the diplomas, one pair from 1946 and the other from 1950. They were awarded to Alma Eunice Anders, a Sam Houston State Teachers College alumni and teacher in the Huntsville public school system, for the completion of her Bachelor of Science program and Master of Arts program.
