Scope and Contents
The majority of this collection contains materials from the Sam Houston State University KSHU Radio Station. Other materials include a Sam Houston State College Homecoming football program, Delta Zeta photocopied articles, an Alpha Phi Sigma certificate, paper materials from Sam Houston State University (event tickets and the College of Arts and Media magazine), and materials about the City of Huntsville.

Biographical / Historical
The Omar Jon Sanchez Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of RTV senior, Omar Sanchez who died while performing a stunt for his Cable 7 action-drama series, "6 Chambers" in the Fall of 1997. The scholarship awards an individual for their outstanding television production.
Omar was 25 from Seguin, Texas and along with majoring in RTV he was a member of the SHSU Rugby Club.
Biographical / Historical
Cable 7's studio "A" was dedicated to Robert E. Eubanks and renamed the Robert E. Eubanks Production Studio.
Dr. Robert E. Eubanks chaired the SHSU RTV program from 1976 until his retirement in 1994. Eubanks was a president of the Texas Association of Broadcast Educators and a member of the Broadcast Educator's Association as well as numerous other RTV organizations. Eubanks was named one of Texas' Broadcast Pioneers for his many contributions to the development of radio and television within the education community.
