90.5 KSHU Toy Drive Raffle Tickets, December 8, 1997
Scope and Contents
The majority of this collection contains materials from the Sam Houston State University KSHU Radio Station. Other materials include a Sam Houston State College Homecoming football program, Delta Zeta photocopied articles, an Alpha Phi Sigma certificate, paper materials from Sam Houston State University (event tickets and the College of Arts and Media magazine), and materials about the City of Huntsville.

The 1997 KSHU Toy Drive benefitted The SAAFE House, the Battered Women's Shelter, and the Good Shepherd Mission.
Drawings for the raffle took place on Monday, December 8, 1997, at 4:30 pm in the Dan Rather Communications Building.
Along with the raffle drawing, there was an essay contest.

Physical Description
The orange raffle ticket has a pennant flag border. Within the border in bold black text is "1997 Toy Drive Raffle" at the top, "Monday, December 8th" in the middle, and "Keep this Stub!!" at the bottom of the ticket. Underneath the bolded date are four sections of fine print in black text mentioning the organizations the raffle is benefiting, information about the drawing, and information about rules. Underneath the bolded title is a design of Sammy the Bearkat wearing black headphones and talking into a black mic. Underneath Sammy is "90.5" in white text inside a black box and "KSHU" in black text inside a white box.
One raffle ticket has the number "67" written at the top and the other ticket has the number "44" written on the bottom. Both numbers are written in black marker.
