From the Collection:

The majority of this collection contains materials from the Sam Houston State University KSHU Radio Station. Other materials include a Sam Houston State College Homecoming football program, Delta Zeta photocopied articles, an Alpha Phi Sigma certificate, paper materials from Sam Houston State University (event tickets and the College of Arts and Media magazine), and materials about the City of Huntsville.

Physical Description

The "Indexed Street Map of Huntsville Texas with Walker County Road Map" provides a street map of Huntsville highlighting some of their businesses. The Walker County map is an overview of the county indicating Huntsville's location.

The front of the pamphlet has a brown picture of the Sam Houston Memorial Museum with a brief description underneath in brown text. On the bottom right is a 5-cent stamp of Sam Houston with a black ink stamp overlaying it, "First Day of Issue." On the bottom left is a black circle ink stamp that has "Houston Jan. 10 9:00 A.M. 1964 Tex."

The back of the pamphlet has brown photographs of Sam Houston State Teachers College’s Old Main, one of Sam Houston's homes, a lake in Huntsville State Park, and the Texas Prison Rodeo. Under each photograph is a brief caption in brown text.

Inside the pamphlet along with the maps is brief information about the City of Huntsville, Sam Houston Park, and Sam Houston State Teachers College in brown text.
