The booklet ‘Huntsville..."The Mt. Vernon of Texas" ‘was published by the Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce. The front of the booklet provides this information in black text with a colorized photograph of Austin Hall.

The booklet provides facts about the City of Huntsville along with black and white photographs of religious institutions and industries of Huntsville and Walker County. Black and white photographs of Sam Houston State Teachers College with information about the college are provided, as well as information and black and white photographs of the Sam Houston Memorial Museum and General Sam Houston. Lastly, the booklet provides information and black and white photographs of the Texas Prison Rodeo. All the information throughout the booklet is in black text.
