This collection is composed of a reproduced photogrpah, typed letters between Margaret Percival and Barbara Kievit-Mason, a type-up of Jessie McFarland's letter, typed biograohical information about Jessie McFarland by Margaret Percival, and newspaper article clippings about Sam Houston State Teachers College.

The reserve corps was not an official program at SHSTC, but it had its headquarters at SHSTC, with the majority of its members as SHSTC students.

Joining the reserve corps exempted males from the military draft.
