This collection is composed of photocopied materials with a few originals concerning Charles Pebworth's art career. The materials consist of newspaper articles, exhibit materials, postcards, pamphlets, awards, and letters donated by Charles and Nona Pebworth.

Biographical / Historical

Channel 8 Tele-Art Auction started with a preview of the artworks up for auction in the lobby of the Republic Bank in Houston with a silent auction three weeks before the Tele-Auction. The Tele-Auction was broadcasted live from April 22 - May 1, 1982.

Charles Pebworth's poster for the Tele-Auction was up for sale for $10 each.
