The East Texas State Teachers College Bulletin was published quarterly. The College is now known as Texas A&M University-Commerce.
The exercises of James Gillam Gee's inauguration began on November 13, 1947, with a reception and dinner. The guests were fellow presidents of Texas State Teachers College and Board of Regent members.

The East Texas State Teachers College Bulletin Vol. XXXI, No. 2 was published in March 1948 and featured the inauguration of James Gilliam Gee as the college's fifth president. The inauguration was on November 15, 1947.
