The Van Horn and Culberson County Materials (1978-2003; three folders) contains correspondence that is primarily between community officials of Van Horn and Culberson County and their residents. One letter is from the First Baptist Church to Mrs. Vernon Schuder inviting her to participate in the choir for the Van Horn Frontier Day worship service. Some of the newspaper clippings are about Van Horn County and there are others with information on the Guadalupe Mountains. These clippings range from 1978 to 2003.The photographs in this collection are mainly of Vernon Fitzgerald depicting her time as the director of the Van Horn School Band and the various trips they took with her as chaperone.
