Physical Description
Louisiana State University in New Orleans's (Lsuno) Butch Webster (number 44) goes for a shot against Sam Houston State University's 6-9 Ron Battle (number 35) and 6-9 James Lister (number 21) in a game at the Privateer's field house. Lunso won the game 98-83 with Webster scoring 43 points.
The front of the photograph contains illegible writing in black pencil, tentaively, "2c City" and "50."
The back of the photograph reads "Lsuno- Houston" and "Lsuno, City" in blue pen and "4 3/4" in black pencil. It is stamped three times, which read "Dec 2 1970," "Terry Friedman," and "Photograph by the Times-Picayune, New Orleans States-Item" followed by a copyright declaration too faded to read.There is one sticker, which reads, "historicimages.com, noo73246."
