Physical Description

This patch depicts the Lowman Rifles Drill Team's new insignia. Black and white shield with "Sam Houston State" written ontop in orange. Below the school name is "Lowman Rifles" written diagonally across the shield in black on a white background. Crossed rifles in the bottom left of the shield and a lightening bolt in the top right of the shield; both items are white on a black background.

General

This new Lowman Rifle design was chosen out of many designs in the 1964/1965 academic year. This design was incorporated in 1966 until the Lowman Rifles Drill Team ended in 1986.
