Physical Description
The Outlook Club Centennial Postcard is a rectangle. The front of the postcard's design has a small, round, light brown border. Within the border at its center is the Outlook Club's logo (silhouette of a women in late 1880s to early 1900s dress. Her right hand is raised while her left hand is placed on a silhouette of a round, 3 legged table that has an open book and small box placed on it) done in light brown. Above the logo are the words "Huntsville" and below and slighlty overlapping the logo are the words "Outlook Club." Overlapping the words "Huntsville" but behind the logo is the year "1890." The words and the year are white with a light brown border and are done in bubble letter formatting. The background within the broder is designed to look like wood grains in a light brown.
On the bottom left of the postcard has the printed words, "The Outlook Club of Huntsville organized in 1890. Miss Sue Smither and Miss Lillian Otey were its founders. Motto: To be, rather than to seem." The back of the postcard has handwritten words in black ink reading, "Centennial Year Gift box of these presented to each member by Dorothy Cole".
