Scope and Contents
The Collection of Alabama-Coushatta Materials consists of correspondence, photographs, booklets, newspaper articles, programs, and pamphlets pertaining to the Alabama-Coushatta reservation and tribe,as well as laws pertaining to reservation rights. The Alabama-Coushatta Reservation is located outside of Livingston, Texas. The collection includes a focus on the “Before the Sundown” historical drama.
