Physical Description
The 1912-1913 newspaper article is untitled and brief. Describes an Outlook Club meeting when Miss Mae S. Wynne was the leader and discussed a Greek drama.
The 1962 April, 12th article from The Pictorial newspaper is titled, "Miss Adele Underwood Relates Colorful History of Outlook Club." The article describes the history of the Huntsville Outlook Club chapter and its formation.
The 1990 articles from September 30th and October 9th are both from The Huntsville Item newspaper. The September article is titled, "100-year old club keeps bright Outlook." The article highlights the group's centennial year with its activities to celebrate a milestone. The article contiunes to explain the chapter's history and how it was formed as well as listing their honorary members. 2 previous Sam Houston State University faculty members were mentioned in the article. Dr. Loyce Adams and Mrs. H.F. Andrews who joined in 1965 and gave reviews every year during their active membership. The October 9th article provides a photograph of Genevieve Brown, Frances Bowers, and Lilla Mae Marshall celebrating the Outlook Club's centennial year at the Centennial Tea Party. The name of the article is titled, "Century club."
The 2011 article is titled, "Club Roundup." The article features a picture of club members during the 2010-2011 period. The caption lists all the members by name and mentions the photograph was taken during their last meeting of the season.
