This petition is addressed to the Board of Regents of the Texas State Teachers Colleges Honorable Members from the faculty of Sam Houston State Teachers College.

Before the faculty signatures they write a paragraph indicating they are deeply distrubed by the actions of the Board of Regents for instructing President Lowman not to submit Dr. Rupert C. Koeninger's name for the next academic year. The faculty members write that they request the Board to reconsider their decision of Dr. Koeninger's employment and afford him the full protection of their announced policies.
