This memo is about the "Houston Chronicle Report" from the Texas Association of College Teachers which is addressed to the State and Local Officers from the Executive Secretary, Mrs. Alice Calkins.
Calkins discusses the Houston Chronicle article where Governor Price Daniel has indirectly stated he will not intervene on behalf of Rupert C. Koeninger regardless of his view about the case.
The memo is divided into 5 sections:
1) Confidential Report: Discusses the report Governor Price Daniel received from Dr. Jack Kilgore from Baylor University about Koeninger's case.
2) Members Position: Discusses the Board of Regents positions on Koeninger's termination.
