Scope and Contents
The Stereoscope and Stereoscopic prints of Huntsville (1870 - 1906; 1 box) includes several postcards with depictions of the Texas State Penitentiary and pictures of the Huntsville Depot railroad terminus. The collection also contains several stereoscope cards of various Huntsville scenes. The stereoscopic prints have two images on each card for left and right eye viewing through a stereoscope. This collection also includes a handheld stereoscope manufactured by Underwood & Underwood in New York in 1901.
