Watergate Newspaper Clippings Collection
Scope and Contents
The Watergate Clippings Collection (1972 – 2009; 3 boxes) contains newspaper and magazine clippings documenting the events of the Watergate scandal. Most of the clippings are from newspapers and more specifically the Houston Post with some from the Morning Telegraph. There are also several copies ofclippings from the Times and Newsweek magazines. In these clippings, reporters and witnesses, and cartoonists weigh in with commentary of the details of the Watergate incident.

Arrangement
This collection consists of newspaper and magazine clippings documenting the Watergate scandal between the years 1972-1974. These documents are housed in three (3) banker boxes. The clippings are all arranged in chronological order. The collection is located on the SHSU Special Collection’s manuscript shelves.
