Biographical / Historical

In 1974, Fredrico Gomez Carrasco, along with two others, attempted to escape from the Huntsville “Walls” Unit. The offenders took 15 hostages in an attempt to secure a release. The hostage standoff spanned eleven days before its conclusion. Unfortunately, the siege resulted in the deaths of two innocent employees, Yvonne Beseda and Julia Standley.
