Scope and Contents
The G. A. Wynne Ledger Transcription Collection is a transcription of a ledger filled with letters from G. A. Wynne to various parties. James Patton loaned the original ledger to SHSU Special Collections and Digital Resources to scan, digitize, transcribe, and create metadata for. The letters focus mostly on G. A. Wynne attempting to find parties that would be interested in property he owned that had a large stone quarry, as well as other natural resources. G. A. Wynne was a banker at the Gibbs National Bank in Huntsville, Texas.
