Biographical / Historical
Severo Mallet-Prevost was born in Zacatecas, Mexico in 1860. He was the son of an assistant surgeon to the United States Army in the Mexican War. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1881 with the degree of B.S. He studied law and began his practice in 1885. Severo Mallet-Prevost was a member of the bar of New York City.
