Biographical / Historical
The Sam Houston State University Student Guidelines Handbook, originally the Sam Houston State Teachers College Handbook, provided students with an overview of college information such as Admissions, graduation, dropping or changing courses, grading, student activities, student resources, boarding, and many more information on student life.
The first known Handbook from 1924 contains the basic information listed. Later editions included more information as the college grew and took on University status. The Handbooks stopped printing in 2012, but continue with new editions online.
