Biographical / Historical
The Texas Christian Advocate was a weekly newspaper first published in 1854 and ran until 1931.
The newspaper acted as a news distribution line for the Methodist Episcopal Chruch, specifically the Southern sect, out of Galveston, Texas, until the early 1900s, when the publication moved to Dallas, Texas.
