Physical Description
The black and white, rectangular photograph is the view looking north from Sam Houston Normal Institute. The May House, Gay Cottage, and the Board Walks are in the view of the photograph. "May House" is handwritten in pencil in the top left corner of the photograph. "Gay Cottage" is handwritten in pencil in the top right of the photograph. "Board Walks" is handwritten in pencil on the left side of the photograph.
The photograph is mounted on a grey, rectangular mount with cut edges. The mount has 2 punched holes on its left side and 2 on its right. "Looking North from S.H.N.I. -1904- May House Gay Cottage -Board Walks-" is handwritten in black ink on the bottom of the mount. In the bottom right corner of the mount is "#39" which is handwritten in black ink.
