The handwritten captions of the photograph mention the date as 1899, but the Old Library/Peabody Memorial Library was not built until 1902.

Physical Description
The black and white, rectangular photograph is of President Henry Carr Pritchett sitting at his desk in his office.
The photograph is mounted on a grey, rectangular mount. The mount has a slight half circle and wavy line border. "President H.C. Pritchett -112 office- Old Library- 1899" is handwritten in black ink on the bottom of the mount. On the back of the mount handwritten in cursive and in pencil is "President H.C.P. in his office Old Library 1899."
