Scope and Contents
The materials in this collection are composed of two boxes.
Box 1 is composed of Charles Lee Hill's scrapbook and photographs of the musical group "The Houstonians."
Box 2 is composed of biographical materials and photographs about Charles Lee Hill's life and music career. As well as biographical materials about his grandfather W.T. Hill's life and time spent in the American Civil War as a Confederate officer.

Physical Description
Anona Youngs, an SHSTC student in Charles Lee Hill's General Music class, writes him a letter about how she enjoys his class and is looking forward to his return from his illness. The letter is handwritten in cursive and pencil. Notes by Charles Lee Hill are on the top and bottom of the letter in cursive and blue ink. His notes mentioned the letter was when he was in the Huntsville hospital in the early 1950's and his class Anona Youngs was in.
Two black and white photographs with white borders are at the top of the sheet. The photograph to the left is of Charles Lee Hill in a classroom and the photograph to the right is of Charles Lee Hill talking to a young man in the same classroom. Written between the two photographs is "ORCH. REHEARSAL NIGHT in SHSTC music blg" in blue ink.
