From the Collection:

The materials in this collection are composed of two boxes.

Box 1 is composed of Charles Lee Hill's scrapbook and photographs of the musical group "The Houstonians."

Box 2 is composed of biographical materials and photographs about Charles Lee Hill's life and music career. As well as biographical materials about his grandfather W.T. Hill's life and time spent in the American Civil War as a Confederate officer.

Physical Description

There are two handwritten letters in pencil attached to the tan sheet of paper.

The first letter is in cursive and is from Miss Nakes to Charles Lee Hill. The letter discusses Miss Nakes' wish for Charles Lee Hill to get well.

The second letter is in print and is from Patty Stephens to Charles Lee Hill. The letter was dated December 6th with an unknown year. The letter discusses Patty Stephens' wish for Charles Lee Hill to get well and that singing Christmas tunes in music class isn't the same without him.
