The postcard is a colorized drawing of the front entrance of the Old Main Building. "Main Building of Sam Houston Normal Institute, A College For Teachers, Huntsville, Texas" is printed in black text on the bottom of the front of the postcard.
The postcard was published by C.T. American Art and was never used.
