The Philos Diorama Invitation , October 17
Scope and Contents
This collection is composed of two boxes containing materials from the Philomathean Literary Society (Philos) and the Eclectic Society Club, Sam Houston State Teachers College event and football programs, and a SHSTC freshman "T" beanie.
The materials in this collection were orginally part of a scrapbook. The materials are now separated from their original source.

Physical Description
The front of the diorama is wooden with saloon doors on hinges and "The Golden Nugget Saloon" written in brown ink above the doors. The back of the diorama is paper that can fold and unfold. This section acts as the "inside" of the saloon, where a drawing of the saloon's bar and bartender are in brown, black, pink, and blue ink. To the left of the drawing is the invite and "Coming soon! The Philos Oct 17 - 7pm" in black ink.
