This collection is composed of photocopied materials with a few originals concerning Charles Pebworth's art career. The materials consist of newspaper articles, exhibit materials, postcards, pamphlets, awards, and letters donated by Charles and Nona Pebworth.

Physical Description

In the front of the clear sleeve is a letter addressed to Charles Pebworth from The Texas A&M University System Facilities Planning and Construction, signed by Ann Harper, Chief Interior Designer. The letter discusses Charles Pebworth's approval to begin work on his art piece to be held in the Jack Williams Library at Texas A&M University at Galveston. The letter also mentions payment for Phase I and II of the process and congratulates Pebwork for being awarded the "Artist of the Year 1987" by the Art League of Houston.

On the back of the clear sleeve is a newspaper article from the Huntsville Item published on Tuesday, January 13, 1987. The article mentions Charles Pebworth has completed his metal relief installation at the Jack Williams Library at Texas A&M University at Galveston. The article provides a photograph of Charles Pebworth putting the finishing touches on his installation. Below the newspaper article is a label with "Texas A&M University At Galveston Jack Williams Library 1987 metal relief" handwritten in black ink.
