This collection is made up of twenty-five black and white photographs, a Sam Houston Normal Institute Diploma, a Sam Houston Normal Institute Commencement program, and a signed pillow cover from Lula Myrtle Teague Cox's childhood.

Biographical / Historical
Lillian Branch's parents were Alice Amelia Ernst and Samuel Clement Branch. Her father came from Berne, Switzerland, and moved to Huntsville, Texas, in 1852. On July 30, 1855, he married Rebecca J. Cline in Huntsville, Texas, who was from Peoria, Illinois. Lillian had two sisters, Mary Alice, and Syndor.
Lillian Branch married Ernest Orts they had a daughter named Ernestine.
