Scope and Contents
This collection is composed of four viewbooks - three from Sam Houston Normal Institute and one from Sam Houston State Teachers College. The viewbooks provide black-and-white photographs and written information about SHNI/SHSTC.

2 Volumes (Each view book is in a clear archival sleeve within box 1.) : Tan horizontal booklet bounded by white string. The text on the cover is raised and the same color as the booklet. Inside are black and white photographs with black text. 8 pages.

The Sam Houston Normal Institute view book has eight pages of black and white photographs showcasing the Institue and its students.
Among the photographs not of SHNI are General Sam Houston's Woodland Home, General Sam Houston's grave, and Lake Oolooteka.
