This collection is composed of thirty-two photograph reprints done by Weston McCoy for the Sam Houston State University Alumni Association for their contribution to the Centennial Memorabilia Collection celebrating SHSU's 100 years.

These reprints feature the early days of SHSU when it was Sam Houston Normal Institute and Sam Houston State Teachers College.

Physical Description

The black and white photograph reprint is of seven females from a women's group at Sam Houston Normal Institute. The group is standing behind a drinking fountain that was donated to SHNI by the 1913 graduating class. The drinking fountain was located on the side of the Old Main Building.

The reprint is taped to an illustration board from the Crescent Cardboard Company.
