This collection contains reproductions of original historic Sam Houston State University photographs from 1906 to the 1970s. The ten photograph reproductions include early aerials of the campus, the Old Main Building in various years, an exhibit of Sam Houston Normal College memorabilia, a display of an early science lab in the Science and Administration Building, and a group photograph of the 1908 Sam Houston Normal Institute faculty.

The photograph is an aerial of Sam Houston State Teachers College featuring the Old Main Building, Austin Hall, The Peabody Memorial Library, the Industrial Arts Building, the Women's and Men's Gymnasiums, and other buildings on campus.

The black and white photograph is a reproduction with a white border and is attached to a black matte with black photo corners.
