Scope and Contents
This collection contains over forty Holy Bibles and other Christian texts as donated by Mr. Charles Whatley. These materials are largely in English, with a few printed in the original tongues of the Protestant and Jewish faiths. The collection also contains 41 individual wooden boxes, complete with topical embellishments. These boxes were handcrafted by Mr. Whatley for the express purpose of storing their respective texts.
