Alice Calkins mentions that she read materials pertaining to Koeninger's situation and that she is looking to hand them to Millard Ruud after he gets back from business in Kansas. Alice Calkins mentions that she was curious if Koeninger saw Mr. Kellam (a Board of Regents member) when he was in Austin and if he plans she see other members of the Board.
