Physical Description

This correspondence is addressed to Professor Elton Abernathy of Southwest Texas State College and a member of the Texas Association of College Teachers from Rupert Koeninger.

Koeninger mentions that it is his hope and desire that the Texas Association of College Teachers and its committee "proceed with quiet care and caution." He wishes for them to know the facts but for the matter not to be in the newspapers.

Koeninger also mentions that he met with Millard Ruud in Austin regarding the "rider" on the appropriations bill to include college teachers. Millar Ruud may write a letter to the Board since he is a legal advisor for the Texas Association of College Teachers.
