This correspondence is addressed to Honorable Ed. Gossett, Chairman of the Local Committee for Sam Houston State Teachers College and a Board of Regents member from Rupert C. Koeninger.

Rupert C. Koeninger writes to Honorable Ed. Gossett about the Board of Regents adopting a resolution stating if President Lowman does not recommend Koeninger for the 1962-1963 academic year then he can stay for the 1961-1962 academic year (current). This resolution was adopted in May 1961.

Koeninger requests the Board reconsiders this action for their February meeting and wishes to relieve President Lowman of the said obligation. Koeninger writes he would like the opportunity to talk with Gossett by coming up to Dallas to meet with him.
