This correspondence is addressed to Robert Van Waes, American Association of University Professors from Rupert C. Koeninger, Ph.D, Director, Department of Sociology.
Rupert C. Koeninger writes Robert Van Waes thanking him for the telegram from March 22, 1962. Koenniger mentions the materials were given to the department heads of Sam Houston State Teachers College, so they may know the facts of the case. Koeninger mentions he has used caution in distributing materials concerning the case, based on the association's request. Koeninger mentions the faculty members are appreciative to know the facts and they are gaurding against making it public.
Koeninger writes he and everyone are appreciative of Van Waes' efforts with the case and are happy about learning that negotiations are underway to obtain reconsideration of employment.
