This correspondence is addressed to Mr. Gibson R. Randle from Mrs. Alice Calkins, Executive Secretary. This correspondence is CC: to Rupert Koeninger, Richard Ballinger, and Wade Hartrick.
Mrs. Alice Calkins writes Mr. Gibson R. Randle thanking him for the copy of his letter to Dr. Koeninger from May 29. Calkins writes she has enclosed a copy of the letter from Dr. James White. Calkins mentions she has sent Dr. Bullock a copy of the brief and investigating report (of Koeninger's case) by Hensohn and Johnson. Calkins mentions the article from the Houston Post covered the hearning well.
Calkins mentions the Texas Association of College Teachers notified the Texas Governor of the case and urged him to appoint a "person of integrity" to the vacant position on the Board of Regents. Calkins mentions the association wishes to find someone close to the governor who could influence him to appoint others in Mr. Ramsey's and Mr. Brown's positions since their terms on the Board end in January.
