Physical Description

William J Kilgore, Chairman of the Deparment of Philosophy from Baylor University and member of the investigating committee from the American Association of University Professors writes Mrs. Alice Calkins, Executive Secretary from the Texas Association of College Teachers.

Kilgore writes he is not aware of any new developments dealing with Koeninger's case. Kilgore discusses the pubilicy of the case amongst newspapers and some newspapers wish to keep this case in the press. Kilgore discusses his talks with several newspaper editors about the importance of academic freedom and tenure.
