The article states Dr. Rupert C. Koeninger and M.B. Etheredge came under fire about their summer employment at Sam Houston State Teachers College from the Board of Regents for participating in political activities. Regent C.S. Ramsey opposed their summer employment but the Board voted 5 to 3 to employ them for the summer term. Ramsey believes they have violated board rules and caused embarrassment to the college by taking part in political races. Regent Newton Gresham is in support of President Lowman's support to employ the 2 professors for the summer term.
