Biographical / Historical

Lynn O. Primm graduated from Fairview High School in Camden, Arizona in 1958. He attended the University of Arkansas and obtained a Chemical Engineering Degree in 1962. After graduation, Primm began working for International Paper Company in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Mobile, Alabama. On June 15, 1963, Primm married Clara Powell. The couple had three sons together, Perry, Pierce, and Todd. After relocating to Texas and raising his family, Lynn Primm retired in 1995 from the Domino Paper Mill. Lynn was also a cattle rancher, enjoyed golfing with friends and loved to sing in the Master's Men and Choir at First Baptist Church, Atlanta TX where he served for many years.

The Lynn O. Primm Texarkana Newspaper Collection was donated by Dr. Todd Primm, a professor in the SHSU Biology department, in memory of his father.
