Walker County Hospital District Health Needs Survey
Scope and Contents
The Walker County Hospital District Health Needs Survey (1977 – 1980; one box) contains the Walker County Health Needs Survey and related documents. The purpose of the survey was to assess the public health needs of Walker County. The survey was initiated by the Walker County Hospital District with the assistance of the Houston-Galveston Area Council Health Systems Agency and was conducted between 1979 and 1980. The collection includes the final report, the lease and agreement between Walker County Hospital District and Huntsville Memorial Hospital, and the Indenture of Mortgage and Deed of Trust from the Walker County Hospital District.
