Scope and Contents
The Newspaper Collection consists mainly of Texas newspapers as well as several titles from other states. Also represented are Centennial and Civil War Newspapers. The Newspaper collection includes both original and copied versions.

The Newspaper Collection is housed in the oversize flat drawers by box number and arranged into two Series; Series 1: Texas and Series 2: Other States. Series 1 is arranged alphabetically by newspaper title. Series 2 is arranged alphabetically by state, then by newspaper title.
