USS John W. Thomason DD760 Battleship Collection
This collection contains materials donated by Oscar Boudreaux, crewmembers, and other members of the USS John W. Thomason DD760 Association. It consists of photos of the battleship, its crew and travels, as well as various memorabilia and items from the ship.
Valine Hobbs Collection
The materials within this collection feature Valine Hobbs' career as a professor and author. The collection is composed of a poem from The Instructor magazine, a photocopied article from the Sam Houston Alumnus magazine, and a photocopy of a Board of Regents meeting report about accepted professors' retirements.
Van Deavender Civil War Memoir Collection
The memoir was written by Van Deavender, the grandfather of Sylvan Cohen of Huntsville, Texas. The original Civil War memoir was given to Sam Houston State University by Sylvan Cohen in 1984. The memoir was transcribed by Charles Dwyer.

This collection contains souvenirs from the centennial anniversary of the visit of French and Canadian missionaries to Victoria County, Texas. These souvenirs consist of a commemorative flag and a booklet with information regarding the first settlements of Victoria County by Sieur de La Salle, and the visit of missionaries upon his death.
Waco Siege Collection
This collection contains materials donated by Larry Lynch concerning the ATF Raid on The Branch Davidians compound, Mt. Carmel, located in Waco, TX.
