Biographical / Historical

Professor Claude Bolin Farrington attended Sam Houston Normal Institute and completed his education in 1893. In September of 1901, Farrington became a faculty member at SHNI for the Department of Chemistry.

1 Photographic Prints (Within a clear archival sleeve) : Black and white oval portrait. The portrait is mounted. The mount is grey and rectangular. Part of the bottom of the mount is broken. The piece is within the archival sleeve as well.

Physical Description

The black and white oval portrait of Professor Claude Bolin Farrington is in profile and is mounted. The mount is grey and rectangular with a slight circle and wavy line border. A piece of the bottom of the mount is broken, and is with the rest of the material within the clear archival sleeve. On the broken piece of the mount is "C.B. Farrington - 1899" handwritten in black ink. On the back of the non-broken piece is "C.B.7- 1964" handwritten in pencil.
