Physical Description

There is one type-up of a letter by Jessie McFarland (two copies). The second copy provides the correct spelling of Jessie's friend, Beulah's last name (Hudson).

The type-up was written on June 10, 2013, and provides a short introduction by Margaret Percival and Carolyn Gundelach with a list of characters mentioned in the letter (one page).

Jessie McFarland's letter was written on March 22 and March 28, 1897, to her mother (two pages). The letter discusses her father's illness, her brother Buddie, her friend Daisy, examinations at Sam Houston Normal Institute, her friend Beulah Hudson's illness, her friend Leonora's trip to Europe, Easter, and Uncle Ed's birthday-an employee at SHNI.
