The Untitled Manuscript Collection includes two rough draft manuscripts. Both manuscripts are untitled,undated, and uncredited. One manuscript is a fictional novel about an American man named David traveling to Europe. The other manuscript is a fictional story about a black woman named Tomato born on Smokey Row plantation who has the ability to communicate with the supernatural.

Upton Sinclair Correspondence Collection

The Upton Sinclair Correspondence Collection consists of correspondence and publications by or relating to Upton Sinclair. The first box has six files and contains correspondence, a book, and a play by Upton Sinclair. The second box has three files containing a book on Upton Sinclair, a copy of his journal, and a catalogue of books, manuscripts, and other materials from the Upton Sinclair Archives at the Lilly Libraryat Indiana University.

Van Deavender Civil War Memoir Collection

The memoir was written by Van Deavender, the grandfather of Sylvan Cohen of Huntsville, Texas. The original Civil War memoir was given to Sam Houston State University by Sylvan Cohen in 1984. The memoir was transcribed by Charles Dwyer.
