Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The materials in this collection are composed of two boxes.

Box 1 is composed of Charles Lee Hill's scrapbook and photographs of the musical group "The Houstonians."

Box 2 is composed of biographical materials and photographs about Charles Lee Hill's life and music career. As well as biographical materials about his grandfather W.T. Hill's life and time spent in the American Civil War as a Confederate officer.

Scope and Contents The collection is divided into five series: Series 1: Personal Correspondence contains letters, postcards, holiday cards, newspaper clippings,invitations, programs, receipts, and photographs. Series 2: Walker County/ Huntsville History includes correspondence, binders and journals of handwritten notes, typed notes, recipes, family trees, newspaper clippings, notes concerning marriage records and land records, census records, and the history of Cincinnati and the Yellow Fever...

The Map Collection contains some original maps and many reproductions. Most maps are related to the US and Texas and date from the mid 19th century.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Wilson Scrapbook and Materials Collection is comprised of a scrapbook, a box of glass slides, and a box of printed material related to the Wilson family of Walker County, Texas. Box 1 contains a 16 page scrapbook consisting of photographs, newspaper articles, and cards. Box 2 contains four photographic glass slides and one glass slide fragment.
